Next Plot

Next Plot is an offline story prompt app. The current version does not create user accounts, does not use analytics or ads, and does not send your personal data to the developer's servers.

Data collection

No personal data is collected by the app in the current build.

Where data stays

Your keywords, notes, history, and settings stay on your device.

Network use

The app is designed to work offline during normal use.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

In the current app build, we do not collect or store:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
  • Precise or approximate location data
  • Contacts, photos, files, or messages
  • Analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking profiles

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To provide app features, Next Plot stores some information locally on your device:

  • Custom keywords you add or edit
  • Generated plot history, favorites, and notes
  • App preferences such as language selection
  • Premium access status, including temporary redeem access expiry

This information remains on your device unless you remove the app, clear app storage, or back up and restore your device using your own platform tools.

3. Premium Access and Purchases

The app supports premium unlocking through Google Play Billing and a local redeem-code timer.

  • Google Play may process payment and transaction information under its own privacy policy.
  • The app itself stores only the local premium unlock state needed to enable or restore premium features on your device.
  • Redeem codes in the current build are handled locally on device and are not sent to the developer's servers.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties through the app in the current build.

5. Data Security and Retention

Because the app is designed for local, offline use, your content is retained on the device where you use the app. The security of that data depends in part on your own device security, such as screen locks, backups, and platform protections.

6. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If a future version of Next Plot adds online services, analytics, advertising, account systems, or other forms of data collection, this privacy policy will be updated before those changes are released.
